The Role

• You will handle children and youth who have been placed in some form of accommodation according to SoL or LVU for various reasons.
• You will monitor the child's situation and development and consider how care should be conducted moving forward.
• You are the spider in the web around the children and collaborate closely with caregivers, families, schools, and other actors for the benefit of the child and family.

About Us

We are a positive and warm unit working in two teams. Collegial support and learning are an obvious part of our working method, while we also receive good support from our supervisors.

Our work is permeated by the approach of Signs of Safety, and we regularly use these methods and materials.

We have a natural collaboration with and proximity to colleagues with other tasks, such as those working with treatment in Open Care and foster care secretaries. Collaboration is a key word, and the Heby spirit is a concept that means we genuinely work from ONE social service.

Is This You?

• You are a trained social worker and have experience through work or internships in authority work directed towards children.
• You master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing.
• You have a B driver's license.
• You are self-driven but enjoy working in teams, are structured, responsible, and good at building positive relationships.
• You are interested in working with children, youth, their families, and have a curious attitude towards the life situations of children and youth.
• You believe that parents want the best for their children and trust that parents and children have the ability to change. You have a desire to support everyone in that change.
